Film producer Raheel Malik has decided to establish his own independent film production company. Speaking about his future plans, Raheel, the successor of renowned film producer Safdar Malik, mentioned that his company SSR Films has been producing films for several years. Currently, the Urdu film Welcome to Punjab is being directed by Shehzad Rafique under his banner. Raheel further expressed his intention to produce independent films and is in the process of registering his own independent production entity.

He also highlighted the significance of the recent meeting between the film delegation and Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, emphasizing the critical need to support the film industry and cinemas at this juncture. He pointed out that cinemas require a steady supply of films, and it is concerning that the number of cinema screens is decreasing. He urged the government to offer support in this regard.
