Islamabad, June 23, 2025 — Arba Tanvir, a 15-year-old changemaker and founding Youth Civic Fellow at LifeAtLahore, has been honored with the prestigious Creators Award at the Youth Digital Summit 2025 held at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad. Her award-winning project, Lahore Cares, highlights untold stories of Lahore’s everyday heroes through a unique blend of storytelling and digital civic mapping.
Launched at the age of 14, Lahore Cares is a youth-led initiative that documents the lives of Lahore’s unsung citizens including street vendors, janitors, teachers, and local volunteers using interviews, photographs, and geo-tagged impact profiles. By combining empathy, technology, and civic awareness, Arba is redefining how the younger generation engages with their communities.
“This recognition is not just for me, but for every person whose story deserves to be heard,” said Arba Tanvir. “Lahore Cares is about seeing the invisible and turning their voices into visibility.”
Arba’s recognition signals a growing wave of digital-native Pakistani youth using creativity, compassion, and storytelling to drive civic change. The Creators Award places her among the most promising young innovators shaping Pakistan’s future narrative
